The Base Library provides a variety of educational and recreational support with more than 35,000 print books, e-books, audiobooks, DVDs, and video games, as well as 125+ magazines, newspapers and journals. There is also a computer lab with Internet access available.
The librarys computer lab provides access to the commercial internet, along with CAC access to the AF Portal, the AKO and NKO. Additionally, there is a photocopier, a scanner, fax capabilities, and a typewriter for public use.
The Base Library has two separate areas for juvenile materials. Each childrens room has a multimedia computer loaded with grade appropriate educational games. A separate Teen Scene houses the Young Adult books and magazines.
The Base Library is staffed with information professionals using state of the art technology to give you immediate, global access to information, when and where you want it.
