The Visitor Control Center at Edwards AFB handles visitor passes.
West Gate (Rosamond Blvd) visitors will be unable to retrieve a pass (Mon - Fri) until 0700 hrs and ONLY at the VCC.
NOTE- DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET PASSES FROM THE WEST GATE BEFORE THE VCC OPENS AS YOU WILL BE TURNED AROUND TO THE VCC PARKING LOT DUE TO A HIGH VOLUME OF TRAFFIC.
The North and South Gate are able to process pre-vetted visitors. If visitors have not been pre-vetted, they will have to wait until the VCC opens (0700 hrs) in order to process a criminal history background check.
The VCC will be offering DBIDS passes for up to 365 days, depending on the purpose.
The 412th SFS highly encourages sponsors to call the VCC during duty hours (up to a week out) to relay visitor information. Base personnel who want to sponsor a visitor should call the VCC during duty hours
