The Legal Assistance Office offers advice on issues of family law, consumer law, credit issues, tax law, real and personal property issues, landlord/tenant matters, contract disputes, and military administrative issues.
Please be advised that Legal Assistance Attorneys are prohibited by law from representing anyone in court. However, in such cases the Legal Assistance Attorneys can provide a referral to a civilian attorney.
The office is open from 0800 to 1130 and 1230 to 1630, Monday through Friday. Notary services and Powers of Attorney are done on a walk-in basis during office hours. Attorney consultation appointments are scheduled beginning Thursday of the proceeding week. Walk-in consultations are available on Thursday on a first-come, first-served basis. Will interviews and executions are done on a walk-in basis on Wednesday afternoons.
