The Exchange (PX) Barber Shop at Fort Wainwright is located on the Main PX. They offer military and civilian haircuts at reasonable prices.

KentonV27Says they open up at 10am. Soldiers have been waiting since 0950 and it's now 1020. An employee's for the barber shop comes in, looks at the group of soldiers and the shop, then leaves. This place is very unprofessional and seems like no one cares about their job.

It may be cheap but you pay for it in time and horrible service that expect tips apparently. Simple haircuts will take 5 times longer then they should. The barbers are normally unfriendly and seem to take longer in hopes to ward off customers.

Don't go to the main px for a haircut. I waited 2.5 hrs while the barbers let their friends cut in line. I went back months later only to get a haircut that was longer on one side than the other. Use the barber at the last Frontier or go off post! Be warned!
