The Welcome Center, located just before the Main Gate at Holloman AFB, can assist you in obtaining visitor's passes and base maps. The Welcome Center also offers information regarding local attractions and tickets.
During Welcome Center non-duty hours, the HAFB Main Gate will only issue escort-required visitor passes. The visitor passes issued will only be valid until the next official duty day, if required (example: If the visitor pass is issued on a Friday, the pass will expire on Monday. The visitor pass holder will be required to have an updated visitor pass issued by the Welcome Center on that next official duty day, Monday). As with all passes, background checks will still be conducted and visitors must have a valid form of identification. Visitors driving their own vehicle must have proof of insurance, vehicle registration and a valid state driver license.
