The Commando Inn lodging facility offers 243 Visiting Officer Quarters, 8 General Officer (O7+) Quarters, and 24 Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLF's).
Military personnel, civilian employees and authorized contractors on official TDY to Hurlburt Field may make reservations anytime; if rooms are not available for official travel, lodging will arrange local commercial quarters. Space-available reservations may also be requested in advance, Management reserves the right to schedule Space Available dependent upon percentage of Occupancy.
Military personnel in a PCS status, whether arriving or departing Hurlburt Field, may make TLF reservations anytime. In CONUS, civilian personnel are considered under our space-available policies for rooms.
VQ rooms are reserved only for adults/Military personnel traveling with children may inquire about TLF's.

Meka24We were given a one bedroom with a family of four. Apparently that happens all the time. I also killed 5 cockroaches within a week. We got out of there as fast as possible. It sure wasn’t a great start to a new base after a stressful pcs. I have never experienced a worse hotel.
