Located in the southwest section of Georgia known as Plantation Trace, Albany is approximately three hours south of Atlanta and resides in a belt of rich farmland in the East Gulf coastal plain on the banks of the Flint River. Albany offers diverse and interesting attractions, such as as stunning golf courses, the Weatherbee Planetarium, Flint RiverQuarium, Albany Museum of Art, The Park at Chehaw (a 100-acre wild animal park) and the state's largest play park for kids. It's also the home of Radium Springs—one of the seven natural wonders of Georgia.
