Located at the southern tip of South Carolina, Atlantic Marine Corps Communities (AMCC) at Tri-Command is creating neighborhoods that strengthen the quality of life for military Families stationed at MCRD Parris Island, MCAS Beaufort and Naval Hospital, South Carolina.
The Laurel Bay Community is located conveniently just three miles from MCAS Beaufort and is a short drive from MCRD Parris Island and Naval Hospital Beaufort. Laurel Bay offers two, three and four bedroom single family and duplex style homes available for all ranks.
Laurel Bay is home to a variety of amenities and services for your convenience. Laurel Bay has 2.7 miles of walking trails, numerous community parks and playgrounds, a boat and RV storage lot, a fishing pier, tennis courts, a basketball court and a community center. The community center has a swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center and a Dot.Com Cafe available for residents.
Laurel Bay is also home to the three Department of Defense Schools in Beaufort that serve residents with children pre-K through 8th grades. MCCS manages a youth center, a childcare center, a gas station, a convenience store and a movie rental facility on Laurel Bay as well. What more can you ask for?
On MCRD Parris Island, AMCC manages 260 single family and duplex style homes. Parris Island has three and four bedroom homes available to all ranks. Homes are located in three communities on Parris Island including Marsh Landing, Wake Village and Weapons Sound.
Parris Island features Lowcountry style new housing, playgrounds and a Parris Island Community Center. The Parris Island Community Center features a 24-hour fitness center, children's play area, large family swimming pool as well as a kiddie pool. The homes on Parris Island offer proximity to work, restaurants and shopping. Both the MCCS Exchange and Commissary are located on Parris Island grounds. Community activities, summer camps and extended learning programs are offered on site as well through the many organizations affiliated with MCRD Parris Island.
Located between quaint Port Royal and Historic Downtown Beaufort, the housing at Naval Hospital Beaufort can not be beat. The homes are renovated with screened-in porches and recreation areas.
