Sitting on the dunes of the Atlantic Ocean with panoramic views and a pristine beach, Shifting Sands offers a variety of rooms for catered functions that can accommodate 50 up to 250 guests. Full service catering includes linens, glassware and stemware as well as a dance floor, so whatever the occasion may be let Shifting Sands make it truly memorable.
Shifting Sands serves a spectacular all hands lunch buffet featuring soup, full salad bar, daily specials, and an array of desserts, including make your own ice cream cone. The monthly buffet menu can be found on the Oceana and Dam Neck MWR Facebook page.
The Dam Neck CPO Club is also located in Shifting Sands.
Shifting Sands also has some spectacular picnic options to include catering and a variety of entertainment additions, a true one-stop shop. Entertainment options include DJ services, moonwalks, rock wall, pony rides, bowling packages and swimming with a full beach package to include kayaking, boogie boards and paddleboards.
