The Bahrain Naval Exchange (NEX) was good for what I needed it for. I got a mattress pad for my rack on my ship, and it was reasonably inexpensive and worked perfectly for the duration of the deployment. I got a couple other things while I was here, and thought it was great.

Small selection of clothes for the size of the facility. None of the female selections are approved for wearing by personnel attached to the base, so bring 3/4 sleeved shirts and Capri pants.
