Arnold AFB Directory

100 Kindel Drive, Hillsboro, TN 37389
The mission of the 2,600 personnel located at the Arnold AFB is to support the development of aerospace systems by conducting testing in flight simulation facilities at the Arnold Engineering and Development Complex (AEDC). The base no longer supports Air Force aircraft flying into or out of the base because the airfield was decommissioned in 2009. However, Army helicopters from Fort Campbell and the Tennessee Army National Guard continue to fly in and out of the base. Arnold AFB is surrounded by mountains and abundant wildlife with a 4,000 acre man-made reservoir that is used for testing operations. This Arnold AFB directory features the critical info you’ll need to navigate through the many facilities and recreational opportunities available on base.
