The Naval Air Station North Island Wood Hobby Shop (Bldg. 825) is the ONLY military wood shop in the San Diego area! It is open to all eligible MWR patrons. Visit our huge 6,000 square foot facility with an OSHA-certified dust collection system, three table saws (one dedicated to crosscutting), radial arm saw, panel saw, chop saw, two band saws, two disc sanders, stationary belt sander, spindle sander, two drill presses, two lathes, two joiners and a 24" planer, sanding tables, work benches, storage lockers and more! Usage fees are per hour or full day.
