Fort Lewis, also known as Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), is located near Tacoma, Washington. It serves as a training and mobilization center for all services and is the only Army power projection base west of the Rocky Mountains. The 1st Joint Mobilization Brigade serves as host unit.
